Uintah Pet Emergency

COVID-19 Policy

Dear Friends and Clients of Uintah Pet Emergency – In consideration of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis:

We are open to provide care and we are doing our part to keep everyone safe! Our protocols to best protect you and our staff are evolving based on developments associated with COVID-19. To safeguard our staff and clients from exposure to COVID-19, Uintah Pet Emergency will continue to operate on modified curbside service.

If your pet is not experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please remain in your vehicle when you arrive. Please call (719) 633-3214 from your car and let the client service representative know the make of your vehicle and where you have parked.

After we’ve completed the check-in process, a staff member will come to your vehicle or call you to obtain a history on your pet and bring the patient to our treatment area to be evaluated by a doctor. Our doctor will then discuss our assessment and treatment recommendations with you.

At this time, we are asking clients to remain in their vehicles during your visit. We understand this is not ideal, however assure that your pet is in good hands. For now, let’s work together to keep our community safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to allowing pet owner back in the building when it is safe to do so.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Uintah Pet Emergency

Here are some steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our pet patients and their families:

  • We do require any client needing to enter the building, wear a mask regardless of vaccine status.

  • We are working within the CDC’s guidelines to keep our clinic and staff free of the virus.

  • We have added additional cleaning procedures.

  • We have instructed staff not to come to work if they or someone in their household is sick.

  • We have implemented a low-contact “curbside service” style.

If you are sick, or have any concerns about exposure, but need to bring in your pet, please call us in advance so we can work out a plan to reduce the spread of germs while ensuring your pet receives appropriate care.
